COURSE OVERVIEW

This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to deploy Extreme Networks’ ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller. Students experience the deployment process from the beginning to completion, learning all the essential steps and technologies. Lectures are supported with hands-on experience with ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller and relevant access points. Successful completion results in an operational WLAN with Open SSIDs, encryption and authentication, configuration settings, AP discovery, and equipment profiles used in the creation and management of Sites in ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is designed for network administrators, support engineers, and integrators responsible for installing, deploying, and configuring wireless networks using ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller.

MANDATORY PREREQUISITE

The Welcome Series ‘Meet IQ – Controller’ is a mandatory prerequisite and must be completed prior to attending the ExtremeCloud IQ – Controller – Installation and Configuration class. You should already possess a solid grasp of WLAN concepts, including 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, Ethernet and TCP/IP, and be comfortable with general wireless network topics.
